Where to stay in Pattaya : Central Pattaya

South PattayaAs the name indicates, this is the center of Pattaya Beach. You can travel anywhere easily by Song Thaew (a hop-on public taxi). The most attractive draw of this area for visitors is its nightlife activities, with many pubs, beer bars, and agogo bars. Central Pattaya is also filled with shopping places and international restaurants. The largest shopping mall in this area is the world-class Royal Garden Plaza Shopping Mall, located next to Pattaya Marriot Resort and Spa. On the beach, tourists can enjoy many activities such as sun bathing and water sports.

Accommodations

Hotels and resorts are available in a range of quality and budget suitable for all visitors. Most hotels are located along Pattaya Beach Road and Pattaya 2nd Road. Should you want to stay near the beach, look for a place on Pattaya Beach Road or in the sois (lanes) that is not too far from the main road. Some of the well-known hotels in Central Pattaya are Pattaya Marriott Resort and Spa , Hard Rock Hotel, and Siam Bayshore.
